Kendyl's annoucment

i am feeling fabulous.

like, for reals pretty dang good

{ considering i just had a human cut outof me & all.}

the c-section went awesome.

a tad nerve-racking

…and i still have {mild} pain.

i am looking forward to when i can exercise

i adore being a mom.

i get tears just thinking about them

they are my world.

i feel humbled to help them grow.

i feel undeserving & completely grateful at the same time.

i am so glad they chose me.

that being said: i’m still really new at the whole two-thing.

i’m looking forward to getting my groove back.

and heavenly father blessing me with more patience.

i feel a little overwhelmed….

in a good way, though.

i basically couldn’t survive life without such a supportive family.

like, couldn’t survive.

i have been born of goodly parents, that is for sure.

thank you.

my number one, Shawn = my strength.

i love him beyond measure.

he works so hard for us.

and yet: still has smiles, hugs, teasing, left for Tate and i when he gets home.

Just a quick blog-note to say thank you so much for all the sweet comments/generous presents/adorable packages/well-wishes/yummy treats/kindness galore.

the past weeks i've been busy

welcoming our tiniest Kendyl into the world,

taking pain medication every four hours,

cuddling my 7 pounds of miracle every chance i get,

being thankful for such charitable family & friends,

and slowly learning how to be a mommy of two.

our newest addition just brings such joy to my days
& the wee hours of my nights.

thank you for celebrating with me.

Thanks especially to my sisters and parents and grandma gwynne for helping with Tate.

I am amazed at how fast this pregnancy has gone, and am grateful for the pregnancy experience I have had so far. I am sad at my lack of commitment to taking and posting pictures we go in at 4:00 a.m. to have are schedule c-section at 6:00 a.m. on Friday February 20th 2009.
I know I have been absent for a while, but with that I have only grown more anxious for your arrival. Friday marks 39 weeks since you began growing in my belly, and I can't believe how fast time has gone! I am enjoying every day that you are inside me, and smile everytime you kick, as though it was your first. You have grown so much within these past couple weeks, either that or Mommy has been eating little too much I can now feel your different body parts press against my tummy, and love to press back. You mostly like to press something against the upper right part of my belly, your cute tush maybe?
I have had crazy cravings, I love eating ice. The curiosity of what you will look like is killing Daddy and me!. I am so greatful that our Heavenly Father has allowed me the blessing of being a mother, your mother. I know you are a Valiant daughter of our Father in Heaven, and have proven it with the decision to come to this earth, during these times, and receive a body. Only two days left I can't wait to see you.

Love,
Mommy

Ward Shower

Ok....so I don't have pictures yet, this past Thursday my two friends threw me a ward shower and once again I was overwhelmed by a major outpouring of love. We have always felt lucky to be in such a great ward and be surrounded by people who love unconditionally and really support each other through life's ups and downs. I feel so blessed to be part of our ward family and I can't believe how many people came and "showered" me with baby gifts which I did really need. There were even a couple women that I didn't know that showed up and brought gifts! As if we weren't excited enough before, all of the hoopla and generosity around us has made it even more exciting to get ready for this new baby girl. I just want to say thanks to everyone who helped, especially Sarah and Wendy, and to all those that came. Thank you! Thank you! I will hopefully get pictures so I can post them later.
