I love this Boy!

We came home from church yesterday Tate ran into go to the bathroom when he was done he came to me and asked me does Jesus go pee too? What about Abby now since she is with Heavenly Father does she go pee? This boy is getting so big so fast and I don't like it. He makes me so Happy! I love you Tate.

Toothless

Over Christmas break Tate stayed at his Grandma Maxwell's house and he ended up losing his first tooth. He saved it for the tooth fairy.

Tate's first tooth gave him the grand total of $5.00.
and boy did everyone get on Mrs. tooth fairy for that one.
Times have changed.

One tooth down...27 more to go. Or something like that.

Dear Abby,

WE LOVE YOU!

We had to put our Abby down after Christmas time, we had her for 13 years and she was a god dog. I didn't think I was going to be able to do it but I drew the strength from somewhere, our vet was very compassionate, he told us everything that was going to happen and what to expect. Abby was very calm and she just trusted whatever he did. I was ok when we dropped her off but when I walked into the vet I lost it all the vet technicians hugging me I was a mess....he allowed Shawn and I to have some time with her before he took her away and I just bawled I was thinking to myself, thinking maybe she would of been ok for a few more days, but she wouldn't of been, her legs were giving way, she had over the past few days, she barely cute hold her self up anymore. I know in my heart it was the right thing to do, we didn't want to see her like that anymore.

Yesterday I went in to get Kendyl up from after her nap I went in she had her diaper off like she always does and she POOPED. I think I walkedi n just in time because it wasn't smeared all over the place. Today I put her diaper on backwards to see if that would work, I like to keep her pants off so she is more comfortable when she sleeps. Well I went to go and pick Tate up from a friends house came home and Kendyl was in different clothes and bathed and also the washing machine was going, I thought Shawn was just washing his work clothes. Nope Kendyl decided to take her diaper off again this time she smeared it all over, Shawn said she had all over her face on her mouth on her baby doll everywhere.

This year we spent Christmas with my sister Heather at her house because our house was being remodel. Another big THANK YOU to her. We miss her so much. This year Tate got a DS for Christmas which he loves a little to much. Kendyl got a tricycle and baby stuff.

Slacker Blogger/Guilty Mother

So let's not waste any time and just get to the point here....

This blogger has been SLACKING.... big time lately! Sure this "slacker blogger" has lots of excuses.
kids... dishes, holidays, laundry... kids, homework, grocery shopping, kitchen make over, kids... bills, sleep, dinners, kids... you get the picture.

Anyways, I'm calling my self out on this one. As a mother there is no excuse. I promised myself that I would use this blog as a family journal of sorts. You know, documenting all those fun, random, daily, memories and not just the "special occasions". I have always wanted to write down my thoughts and experiences so that I can look back someday and A. laugh B. cry or a little of both. It is always interesting to look a things in retrospect.

We had such a yummy Thanksgiving dinner that my Mom prepared for us especially the Turkey it was delicious. We also had my cousin and his family with us this year which was fun the kids played outside, fished and had a great time. Thanks Mom and Dad for such a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner.
